Your expenses and receipts stay on your iPhone and, if you use iCloud, in your own iCloud account.

With Enhanced Reading on, receipts are read with Apple Intelligence using Private Cloud Compute. They aren’t stored or accessible by Apple.

Purchases are handled by Apple.
